7 Hectares: Organic Aquaculture Experience

Take the road less traveled (literally) and take part in a sustainable aquaculture experience at 7 Hectares.

EB Magalona is where Kiko Torno’s fishponds are. Lunch, a gem of a taste workshop, includes a light lecture on the sustainability of a pond’s ecosystem. Learn about the current issues and opportunities for small scale pond owners.

You will also be served a 10-course meal … a degustation that is not like any other.

Afternoon activities will be a running tour of the ancestral homes and a quick lesson on stone art at the Silay City Art Space and Showroom (Old Silay Puericulture Center).

Early dinner at Casa Gamboa before we head to the airport.

Breakfast starts at 6AM. Please refill your tumblers.

8:00 Check out from hotel/board the coaster. A luggage van will be provided.

9:00 ETA 7 Hectares Meet Kiko Torno and let him take you to world of sustainable pond growing. Take time savoring the curated lunch. Activities will include harvesting and food preparation.

1:00 Leave for Silay

1:30 ETA Silay. We’ll take you on a brief tour of Silay.

2:30 Afternoon workshop on stone art or single wire arts by Ian D. Valladares at the Silay City Art Space and Showroom

3:30 Proceed to Casa Gamboa for a homecooked dinner before leaving for the airport.

5:00 Leave for Silay airport (it is just 9 minutes away, more or less).
